Great job!! Did installation go smooth?

Once you´ve had a bit of experience with the fabric, we´ve just added a "review" module on our US and EU web-pages and I´d really appreciate if you could do a review, perhaps even comparing the V6 to your previous fabric here (EU): https://dreamscreen.no/collections/f...fit-all-system and here (US): https://www.screenacoustics.com/coll...fit-all-system.

As for calibration, the default "natural" setting is normally pretty close to D65 on those JVCs, and since the V6 is almost 100% D65 neutral to begin with (it won´t shift the colour temperature in any significant direction...) I guess it should look pretty nice anyhow... Still, a calibration is always preferred if possible though, especially if you plan on doing some HDR stuff.

I’ve started my countdown! Looking forward to hanging out and being able to discuss tech with people and they actually know (and appreciate) what the heck I’m talking about.

Is there a list of those coming and what gear is coming with them?

It seems we need to do this much more regularly so we can get in time for other gear, unofficial listening, critical listening etc etc.

Thanks. I have not had much time for a good sit down to view. My oldest is turning 17 this weekend and I am cooking for 18 so it has been a busy week. As soon as I do, I will get that review done. I also recorded the install, but need to edit it. The install was was not as planned (not bad, I hope), but have a plan I need to speak to you about.

Not bringing anything crazy, just a few six packs.

Great Raft pilsner
Wild Acre Brewing bock
Spaten oktoberfest
Paulaner oktoberfest

Plus a little something on draft from a local growler bar if they have anything I like. Hoping for a nice stout like Epic Big Bad Baptist or similar

Updated the 1st post with time. (10AM - late). I think PM would be best for address. Also a great way for confirmation for all who are attending as plans should have been mostly solidified by now for those who intend to join.

There has been no other interest in the calibration, so may not be an option any more and I will attempt a best effort on my own this week.

That is great news. I will be home all day Friday in case anyone needs to drop anything off for setup/demo. Also, if anyone has some fold out chairs for the front room demo space, that would save me from having to buy some.

I am sorry to announce I will be a no show for this but that opens a spot for someone else. I hate when reality and life interferes with my fun. I look forward to reading how wonderful this will be. Sorry for the last minute bail out.

I'm a total beer nerd myself and have a pretty deep cellar, so I'll bring some good along for the ride too!

If you're still planning to attend, I'd really like to hear these! Mark Seaton recommended I check out the 305's for my new coffee shop/beer bar that we're opening so I would be super interested to hear them.

Nice!

I got a 7.2 cu ft chest freezer about 2 months ago and it holds way less than I thought it would. I nearly filled it up the day I got it!

I don't have anything crazy in mine - it's mostly locally available imperial stouts. I don't want to get sucked into the world of beer mail/trading

That's probably a smart idea. Mine is pretty much out of control. But you'll get to share the spoils of my lack of control on Saturday

As of now we have 22 confirmed attendees with 2 more tentative at this time. I have sent PMs to those on the list below but it looks like we will have a good sized turnout.
