I just installed a new TS-CL110UAA lamp in my JVC HD-52G786 and I now have a flicker every few seconds where the picture goes black for a split second. I followed all instructions carefully. I put the old bulb back in (was dim but still had some hours left in it) to confirm it wasn't just a bad new bulb. Same result with just a darker picture. What could I have done? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Aftermarket lamps can operate at a different current or voltage, and damage your ballast, but it could also be a poor connection. Reseat your lamp.
