I appreciating the clarification and explanation of the barrels.Realistically how dirty would the base and the lens on the bottom of the barrel be ? Maybe smudges inside the barrels were a bad term and it was just a quick glance on my part.The one at a time also makes sense.My wife keeps hoping it will warm up so the boat get's back in the water,and I'll quit disassembling my electronics.She's getting tired of the "Hey Honey,come look at this ... "

There is a test for that which would be included in my coaching. You may not need to remove them, the test will tell you.

If they need it, tho, they will really need it, and it will have to be done - and done right - for you to have that crystal clear light path again, like when it was new.
