This TV has been sitting unused in a room for over 2 years with the yellow/green tinted screen and I was about ready to just get rid of it, but I saw that Robert put up a video on how to remove the block from the A3000 series (which helped tremendously as it is different from the other models) and after seeing Robert's excellent ebay ratings, I decided to try to get it repaired.

He says shop turnaround time is typically 2 weeks, and I'll post in here when I get it back.
-Update and Review-

Received the repaired optical block yesterday and reassembled the TV last night. Everything went smoothly and full color has returned to the set. Robert did a great job and I would recommend anyone thinking of getting their light engine fixed to not hesitate to use his service. He responded to all communication, no problems at all.

Bump on this thread, I gave my 70" to a friend in 2010, it's still going strong.

Damn...would have loved to have been given a 70-inch SXRD...those things are ridiculously huge and deliver a real cinematic image.
