Good evening. I have the KDSR-60XBR1 SXRD. I live in Maryland near DC. We had massive storms from Ohio last month and were without power for two days. I do have a ups/line conditioner on the TV. I turned on the TV and the power light flashed green a few times and it is now on. I can scroll through the inputs but get no sound or picture. When in regular mode I get the static on the screen on channel 3 but cannot change the channel. When clicking the volume, the volume bar shows up on the screen but no sound. When i turn to Video 6 or 7 with the Comcast cable box, i get to picture. I tried my Blu-ray player, as well. Both are HDMI and worked prior to the storm. I think that HDMI video 6 stopped working prior and I had to put the Comcast box on HDMI video 7. Now, is this the board? I do get a full black screen with the input selection on the upper left and when I go into the menu settings I do get the settings on the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I gather from a quick search, others have found that replacing the lamp has fixed their problems. Odd that a bad lamp can cause sound problems but most are stating the Lamp engine is what one of the issues that causes it not to work, but can have a picture.

Here is the Service Manual http://www.scribd.com/doc/16940552/Service-Manual-Kdsr60xbr1#outer_page_2
