Hello all,

It's been a bit since I posted, but I arrive looking for some help.

I'm trying to find a good price for a WD-92842, but with the recent announcement of Mitsubishi leaving the DLP market it's become a bit of a chore. I've contacted Walts, but they're playing the gouging game and I refuse to submit to that (I'll just invest in front projection if needed). I guess it's my bad luck that I started looking into an upgrade for my Sammy 67A750 just as Mits was dropping DLP.

I'd consider the 840 as well, but I like the idea of using BT glasses for 3D over IR.

I guess I'm just looking for a direction to head or reasonable person to contact about the purchasing of one of these sets. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. smile.gif

Thank you.

Pauls tv is pretty much the only place online that is, that's selling all the available RPTV's and has been for the last couple of months or so. You can also try amazon but that's about it. At least as far as getting a good price.

As far as locally Fry's might be a good option if you have 1 near you as well.

If it were me I'd definitely get a 42 over a 40. I had a WD-73640 for a little over a year or so. Just got my new WD-82642 about 2 weeks ago, and the picture on the WD-8642 is much better on that set than it was on my WD-73640.
