If so, can it only be DLP LINK glasses or will one with an emitter work?

You only need the DLP link glasses. On your Panasonic blu-ray player, change your 3D setting to checker board. On your TV, go to set-up menu and select 3D and on the same menu choose reverse. I have the same TV and I have been watching 3D movies with Panasonic 210.

Thanks, do you know if a set of glasses that use IR or RF would work?
Some things I read seem to point to it would but others say only 2010 and later.

There seems to be a larger option pool as far as glasses goes using IR - and they are less expensive.

The specs on my 3d glasses did not mention IR or RF. It says 3D active glasses for projector.

I delayed too long and just found out Mitsubishi no longer makes 65" dlp. Does anyone know of a store which may have some available? I made a nice tv cab which will not fit a 73" tv and I love dlp. Help!

Wow good luck finding a DLP 65" in any store anywhere. They stopped making em about 2 years ago or so. Your best bet would be locally like craigslist. Or you might just have to get a flat screen in that size instead. The prices for those have come down quite a bit for that size a TV.

I guess the last 65" model that Mits made was the WD-65735, the WD-65736, and the WD-65738? I did an online search for both of those and came up with zilch.

EDIT : I just did another search and you can get the WD-65638 which was 1 of the last 65" DLPS Mits made. The last year they made 65" DLP's was for their 2010 model year.
