I just talked to Bob (who repairs Pioneer Elites email@example.com) who started the thread "Don't dump your CRT RPTV!": http://www.avsforum.com/t/695922/dont-dump-your-crt-rptv, and asked him if he knew anyone who would be interested in a free Pioneer Pro-520HD that needs repair. He suggested that I post to this forum. To me it sounds like a power circuit board problem that it has. The unit won't power on. Other than the power problem, the unit is in great shape with the beautiful piano black cabinet.
I live in the SF Bay Area. If anyone is interested you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Mine is working great and i love it. Had it ISF calibrated way back when. Its been hard to spend the mega bucks on these new flat screens when i have great PQ.
