Hi, I'm new to posting in this forum and I was hoping I could get some help with an issue I am having. So my I've had this tv for a while now and I have replaced the capacitor on the ballast many times and then I also replaced one on the main power board. Then my tv was fine for about a year and now it wont turn on. I also hear a slight high pitched sound coming from the color wheel which makes me think it is the color wheel. But then I took it out and although there is some noise when you spin it by hand it seems otherwise fine. What I noticed after that was that the bulb wouldn't even turn on at all which makes me think it isn't the color wheel. Does anyone know if when the color wheel is going bad it will stop the light from turning on? Any help is much appreciated.

I just posted a similar problem here.

For your set, how accessible is the ballast?

It's really easy to get to, slide out the main section and take off a few screws
