Where are people buying their bulbs now a days? Directly from Sony? My TV color seems to be fading pretty fast and I am wondering if I just need a new bulb. I probably haven't changed the bulb in about 5 years.

No cause I don't own a Sony so it wouldn't do me any good to purchase a lamp from them. But I would likely purchase from the TV manufacturer I own.

Try www.bulbsolutions.com I've bought several bulbs from them and always had fast service.

Wherever you go, stay away from the $38 Chinese knockoff lamps. They have a high out-of-box failure rate, and at best they only last a few months. Buy a real labeled genuine Philips (best) or Osram (near-best) if your tv is a Sony.
Avoid anything advertised as "OEM-equivalent".
