I'm trying to tune OTA digital channels on my KDS-55A2000 for the first time, but I'm finding that only the audio of the channels is coming through. On all digital channels, the video is either completely black, or is a mess of shifting blocks (see attached image). I don't *think* the signal strength is the issue, because the channel info is claiming 95% signal strength, and I've tried three different antennas with exactly the same result (admittedly, indoor ones - one amplified). So I'm tending to think that my tuner might be broken. Analog (NTSC) channels *do* tune fine, with audio and video. The stations I'm trying to tune are less than 6 miles away, but I probably don't have a very clear line of sight to them. Unfortunately, I don't have another TV that I could compare reception with.
I think the tuner boards for these TV's are <$25 on ShopJimmy, so if it does turn out to that at fault, it might be a simple fix. But does that sound like the issue to you knowledgeable folks?
