Mitsubishi WD-52628 DLP HDTV - 8 years old replaced lamp a few months ago (eighth time)... since the latest replacement, occasionally when turning on the set the sound comes on but the lamp doesn't come on and after 1 to 2 minutes the 'LAMP' indicator LED comes on, indicating a blown lamp. Pressing the reset switch with a tooth pick will put the set into timer mode for 30 seconds, When the timer stops blinking I press 'power' and by cycling through this process 1 to 5 times the lamp will finally come on. Could this be a faulty new (Osram) lamp... or more likely a bad ballast or other issue?
Thank you.
