10/2005 kdsr60xbr1 yellow picture

Sorry if this has been discussed but my picture seems to have a yellow tint after 9 years of use. My wife has an LCD that she watches and after she watched my SXRD she noticed the yellow tint. Will a bulb replacement resolve the issue? Which bulb if this is the issue. I have Been gone a while and good to be back.

No, unfortunately the tint problem is not going to be fixed by a new lamp. This is a problem deep inside the optical engine of the Tv and requires lots of very complex dis-assembly to fix or replace the whole optical engine (about $300 on ebay). Keep in mind if you decide to have it repaired, it's only a temporary fix because another X years from now the same problem will happen again. Not to mention lamps every few years....
