Best New Lamp

I have a Sony KDSR60XBR1 that needs a new Bulb. Lots of them out there, Which is the best and will last.

Thanks!

I think the general advice is get an OEM bulb even though they're significantly more expensive. The knockoffs don't tend to last very long.

Thanks Dan, is that only available from Sony or are other suppliers that claim OEM also good choice?

I got a bulb/housing for my Samsung through Amazon via Exclusive Bulbs. It was a Phillips Bulb, which was the OEM bulb provider for Samsung. That said, I'm having problems again after only 15 months (hence my other post). So you don't have to get them from Sony (Sony probably isn't the OEM for the bulb itself anyway). But just make sure you're getting what you expect. There were lots of $40 bulbs for my TV on Amazon too, but those weren't OEM, that was closer to $100.
