Don't understand your first sentence, but I can reply on the color wheel.
The guy who sold me the TV called the Mitsubishi rep while I was in the store to find out arrival of the 732 series. I was told AUGUST. He confirmed the 12-bit processing and also the RPMs of the color wheel. The associate got off the phone and mentioned that Mits had the extra primary color filter (which may explain the better skintones). I also confirmed the bulb size: 150W vs 132W (Samsung) and 120W (Sony). It's evident that the Mits is the brightest. I thought the Mits had the best viewing angle on the floor which is important in my living room setup.
I read the press releases on Sony's site which has the specs and photos. I didn't like the extra screen frame on the new Sonys.
I guess the 732 series has a metallic gloss black and the Diamond 832 series has the metallic HIGH gloss black. The 732 series steps are: NetCommand IR with Learning, one extra component, SharpEdge, DarkDetailer, PerfecTint, and the Memory Card Reader. All this for $200 more. I paid much less than MSRP at Ultimate Electronics. TRUST ME. I did my research and wrote it down. The 732s aren't expected until August, but like I said, I needed a TV now.
Not to mention that I have a 57" size that's basically the same width as the current 50" SXRD. And my wife was against the Samsung finish because of dust and fingerprints from the little one. She also likes the illuminated remote, which was one of the bigger selling points. We watch movies in the dark after the little one is asleep and none of the other remotes were illuminated. Came in handy tonight because we watched a recording of Madagascar in HD after the hockey game. It looked phenomenal!
The only hesistation is exchanging this TV for the 732 when it arrives, but I only have a couple of more weeks to make this decision. I'll be without a living room set for about 3 weeks if I take it back and get a 732. Might be well worth the extra $200.
