I have digital cable and the converter box has a DVI output, so I bought the DVI to HDMI cable(the 51F59 does not have a DVI input just HDMI). The image is crisp and clear but the colors are all wrong. Everything looks green and blue. Anyone have this problem??? If I run the digital cable through the component inputs everything looks fine. The DVD video looks fine too.(both component inputs)

Help!

Sounds like a bad DVI to HDMI cable.

Is there an RGB option for your HDMI input?

I'm not to sure what you mean? Isn't RGB component video? The component video inputs to the tv work fine. ???

Component is not RGB, RGB is SCART or VGA(or RGBHV via BNC cables)

In the cable box, does it offer an option of sending RGB, or YcbCr to the DVI port? You may need to set it to to YcbCr, since I don't know if the Hitachi can properly use the RGB signals.

Since your colors are only green and blue when on HDMI, I would really suspect you cable to be at fault.
