Last update:14 AUG 2007 (Calibration using the Service Menu, and Spyder2)

Now includes some HLT links, as I have upgraded to an HL-T replacement...

Due to the burgeoning "official" thread, I will be posting links of interest on different technical specs/tips/tricks on the Samsung HLS xx87/xx88 models. Please feel free to reply with ideas for links and specific thread topics on pertinent discussions.
No questions, please: keep those in the official thread or in a separate thread.

Some threads may be lost due to archiving.

Thanks!

I think it's under "More tweaks from user Eliab" ... there are a couple "settings" links with suggestions for initial out of the box rough calibrations/settings.

Cheers!

docrings,

You've done a wonderful job of compiling a list of technical links for us. Thank you. I was, however, wondering if you wouldn't mind categorizing the links? Do you think this is possible?

Thanks,
Mark

The list is really coming along. How about a link to the 7178W owners thread? (Ok, technically not 87/88), but pretty much the 88 series. I agree with the previous poster that the longer the link list becomes it may be most helpful to either alphabetize or categorize (although I have no idea how to break down the categories). Great job, again.
