Im not sure if this is the correct place but here we go.

Ok I have a Sony E2000 RPTV and the native resolution is 720p. I also have a Panasonic Progressive Scan DVD player (not sure which model as I am at work) and an Xbox 360 that I am currently using to play my DVD's.

Im just wondering what I should use to get better PQ. I thought that the 360 was upconverting but apparently that is only trough VGA and my TV does not have a VGA port. So do you guys think that the DVD player or the 360 would be better?

Compare them and see which looks best to you with your equipment. You may want to consider an upscaling player like the Oppo (or the Tosh HD-DVD player or Xbox add-on).
