Ok, so I bought a pretty nice old, but working, 19CRT TV to replace the one that blew up in at a garage sale yesterday for $5. It is a Samsung TXB1930 for reference. I was so pumped, got it home, plugged it in and it came on just fine. I had to turn it on and off 4-5 times to get an old universal remote to work with it. The picture is very good, clear for a CRT, and bright colors, no color clouds, so I know the sucker works. After a while though it started to come on intermittently when I went to turn it on, meaning that I had to hit the power button several times, hold it in, whatever to get it to come on. Now it will not turn on at all. It just won't kick over.
Does anyone know what causes this or how I could possibly fix it?
