Hi Guys, I have a 34" wega trinitron, I think it's a hs420. It has the blinking 6/7 red light issue. I read the whole giant thread here about how to fix it, and even bought the chips and have been practicing soldering/desoldering. But I've decided that I don't want to keep it. So instead of just tossing it, if anyone here would like it, and are able to come pick it up, it's yours. Cosmetically it's perfect. I'll even give you the chips that I ordered so you can fix it. The picture on the set is really great, it's just too big and heavy for me to keep and it seems a shame to just throw it out. Feel free to PM or call me at 585-355-0751. I'm near downtown culver city, zip 90232.

PS: I also have a 24" sony fw900 monitor that you can have. It comes on but then the blue gun gets really bright and shuts off. But if you do the power on several times and once it gets warm it seems to stays on. So if you know how to fix it. It's free for the taking also.

I don't think anyone wants a broken 200lb hdcrt.

You can get a nice working 34'' hdcrt for 100-200$ on CL anyways.

I guess my point was it's pretty easy to fix and I'd even give you the chips you need to fix it. I could fix it, but then I would want money for it, instead of just giving it away.

Just a suggestion...
Not a good idea posting your phone number publicly.
