Ok guys since i have aquired one universal crt tv which is the hitachi c21-rf80s. Were these type of crt's rare to find and what other companise have nade any?

Format nuetral and loving it
hddvd=13(latest=flags of our fathers)
blu-ray=78(latest=afro samurai ressurection,weeds season 2,the descent)

I assume you are talking about multi-format TV, NTSC-PAL-SECAM. Lots of vendor made them, but yeah, we Yanks in general were not *that* interested what the rest of the world did, so yeah you couldn't (still can't) walk into Best Buys and get one of those TV, *but* they sold them if you look hard enough. In an International/transit city like Hong Kong where people all over go shopping, multi-format machines are common.
