I would say that Craigslist would be a good place to buy a CRT TV, even today. Ebay is good too.
I have bought 2 1980s era Zenith CRT TVs from my local Craigslist and I still have them in the house. They still work fine. They were reasonably priced too, but the reason I bought them was because I liked their CRT technology.
Zenith and RCA were the biggest competitors in the CRT TV market in the US at the time of CRTs. Sylvania was very good too, up to the 1980s. There were some other notable minor brands then, too. For example, Sears had made some very good models of CRT TVs
I have seen some Samsung HDTV CRT TVs and some other Asian models of HDTV CRT TVs that were very good. I have been told that the 32" Samsung Slimfit CRT HDTV model was impressive at that time.
The only places where they can still sell new CRTs today are a few Third World countries.
I own 2 LED TVs too, by the way.
