(Hope this is the right board?)

Wanted to consult with you before buying this used Mitsubishi Diamond Pro XC-3725C, which is a 37" presentation monitor. The guy says it does 1280x1024, but I get conflicting info in the web, I read true resolution was 1024x768. Can anybody confirm?

Couldn't find Mitsubishi's data sheet or manual. Found some specs at http://www.inx.net/~avs/mitsu372.html and a picture at http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/e3833329/bc/Yahoo!+Photo+Album/XC3725.jpg?cf_____DdLqcBEMg

Would a monitor like this be appropriate for HDTV and DVD viewing? The guy wants $700 for it, is it a good deal? Looks like some places rent it for $500/day?

I'd like to feed it with the VGA out from a MyHD card which can output 1920x1080i, 1280x720p, 720x480p, 720x480i, 1440x1080i, and 1024x768p in full screen.

Will I be able to use any of these and get a good image? Shouldn't 1280x720p give a great PQ?

Any comments appreciated.
