I got the Sharp DT-510 16:9 PJ about a week ago and was wondering how 16:9 PJ owners watch 4:3 SD TV on their PJs (if you do)?
I set my TV software to "letterbox" and that essentially "zooms" the image so that it takes the width of my 16:9 screen and chops off a top and bottom bar. I prefer this mode and most programs are already broadcast in 4:3 with the black bars so all that's happening is the back bars are getting cut off.
For programs that are really 4:3 I prefer this mode too as normally it's still ok, only once have I had someone with his head cut off the top.
So how do you watch 4:3 SD TV on a 16:9 HD PJ?
Thanks
