Can anyone suggests a projector that has a USB port and is in the price range of $400- $500? It will be used for powerpoint presenations. I have been looking all over but can't find the right projector. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Thanks!

Do you mean a USB input that can accept a video signal over USB? Typically USB inputs are used for remote mouse control and are unable to accept a video signal...

The Epson W6 has a typeB USB port which can be used with a display driver. I think the MSRP is around $800. I don't know of anything in your price range.

I'm looking for a projector with a by-pass function which will allow you to run presentations directly off the flash drive (rather than a PC). My budget for this is $300-$400, I am going to need about 35-40 of them. Can you suggest any projector?

This is your lucky day. Better get them before they are gone. Has USB port not sure if you can run powerpoint from it.

You might try looking at the user manual

Hey David,
Thanks for giving me that link. Can all of these projectors run a presentation directly from a flash drive? Without being connected to a PC?

I have no idea. I would read the manual or call Optoma.

This one does but it's $650

Hi David, I'm a professional photographer, and I was looking for a projector to do some in-home presentation slideshows of my photographs, and well, I came across this post, did a little reading on some specs/reviews of this projector, and I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it! Thx for your link! I think it should work pretty well for me from what I can tell, and for $399 and only $1.99 shipping, it seems like a nice deal.
