Hi folks,

I just wondered if any of you knew how to access the factory menu on a Sanyo PLV-Z5 please?

I can access the service menu the same as is documented for the Z2 - Z4 by holding Menu + Input until the S appears and then holding the up and down arrows for 10 seconds, and I can access another menu by holding Input + OK for ten seconds which is supposed to be the factory menu on older models but it leaves me at menu 999 which I can't get out of by pressing anything on either the remote or panel on top of the pj (apart from Power to exit).

Basically I've read on the net that it's possible to access the service menu to align the panels by 1px - I can change the alignment by 2px via menu 4, subitems 23-25 but that doesn't give me the fine tuning I need.

From what I can tell one of the panels being one pixel out isn't really viewed as a problem - you can only tell when it's really fine text that it's not quite right and even then it's only me that notices it - maybe my glasses are too good?!

Thanks in advance!

I'm also looking for a precise panel adjustment procedure.
Service mode allows 2 horizontal pixel shifts;
I'm looking for how to make 1 pixel jumps, and vertical adjustments also !

Hope there are still people playing with their Z5 in the world !
