Got my rebate returned to me and they wouldn't honor it because I submitted it after 40 days instead of 30. The main reason I got this projector was because of this deal.

Is there anything else I can do or am I pretty much SOL here?

Sorry but deadlines are deadlines and a month is a pretty reasonable amount of time to mail in required info. Same thing happened to my dad when Mitsubishi had a $250 rebate on a projector a couple years back. I marked in on calender for him, mentioned it whenever I was over his house and all I got was "yes I gotta get to it" well he was lazy about it and missed deadline.
Not usre he will do that again after lesson learned though. I really hate rebates this pretty recent fad hatched up in last 10 years sucks IMO.

My problem is that there was a delay with the delivery of my projector. This was at XMAS time and by the time I returned from vacation it was past the 30 days so It's not like I was sitting on the paperwork. Epson does a great job of showing that the rebate is good until 2012 in large font then in the tiny print within 30 days of purchase

Have you tried to contact them and see if you can delay the start of rebate clock to the day you actually recieved unit? That may help if you can prove the delivery delay. Cheers

Epson’s spokesperson has informed me that if you experience any problem with premature lamp failure on any Epson 1080p projector, you may return the lamp for a replacement lamp anytime during the life of the projector’s warranty. Yes, you read that right—premature lamp failure on any Epson 1080p projector will be covered for the entire duration of the projector’s warranty, not the lamp’s warranty.

If you encounter an early lamp failure on any Epson 1080p model, Epson asks that you contact them directly at 800-637-7661 (use your PIN on PrivateLine Support Card).

Yes, but that spare bulb would be for use after the warranty period is over.
