I would like to ceiling mount a front projector, but I'm not sure I can given my space configuration. The room is 16' deep but has an hvac soffit that is 6.5' wide. That leaves 9.5 ' to mount a projector, and I'd like to use a 110" screen. Is this possible? If so, what do you recommend?

Thanks,
GB

There are short throw projectors that would easily allow that size screen in less than the 9.5'.

I think these projectors are intended, for the most part, for gaming which usually sacrifices black levels for brightness.

You didn't mention what you're looking to achieve. Looking for movies, games, hdtv? Those things would determine the type of projector you would buy.
