Did you purchase official glasses or cheaper ones? There are pairs for around £35 each which seems very reasonable.

My H9500BD came with a pair of Acer glasses, then I purchased two extra pair of True Depth glasses. Any DLP link glasses will work but some hold color accuracy and black level's better then others and it varies with projector's.
I know your also researching into a way to use your IR glasses, again wish I could help but no experience/research done by me in that area either.

Ok thanks again.

Just had a look at the acer throw distance and it doesnt seem to be as 'short' as they advertise. The optoma seems to use much less space to get a larger screen.

Should also add i got 2 pairs of optoma 3d glasses with the projector. They are the dlp ones.

I want to buy some more pairs but dont want to pay a lot of money for them. Say £30-£40 a pair. They are more for when friends are round so dont need to be amazing!

Ok, just so you know niether of those are 0 input lag. Both are around 30ms, which by my reading's are the best input lag times out now for 3D 1080P projecting. But that said both can only out put 24fps with 1080P 3D so most gamers go to 720P 60fps. Nothing out now that I know of will do 3D 1080P 60fps, which almost all PC gamers are after.

But for play with no problems online gears of war 3, fifa, CoD or forza with friends any of these 2 projectors will work? i'm not a prefessional gamer but i like to play about 2 hours per day online...and i'm a newbie in the projector's world.

If we remove the 3d capability, which 1080p projector is the best?

Well what percentage gaming/Movie or other example 25% gaming 75% Movies?
The HD33/3300 and the H9500BD are both very good 1080P projectors and excel at 3D for movie's. I have the H9500BD and played Assassins Creed Revelation with 3D and was very pleased with it.
If looking for 1080P 2D only projectors I would research into the Mitsubishi HC4000 and BenQ W6000.
But if almost 100% used for gaming online and looking for 3D gaming I would look at the Optoma GT750 and Acer H5360BD. Both of those can play PS3, 360 3D gaming and 3D Blurays. They are native 720P projectors and all games I know of on PS3 and 360 are 720P or lower so.

Maybe 50/50...i'll play around 20 hours per week (only can play at nights) and see 1080p movies on weekends with my girlfriend or family.

I have a multimedia center (HiMedia 900b) so I want to play all 1080p 3D movies and tv shows that i have but also want to play with no problems

Then I would say read through both the HD33/3300 thread and the H9500BD thread and make your choice. I would stay away from the Epson 3010 due to the at best 60ms input lag.
