Ok guys, (its the UK newby here again :) )

getting the AE100 pj and currently all my signal sources (SKY, DVD, Dreamcast etc) go into my Sony AV amp then output over a composite connection to the TV/projector

Now knowing that the scaler aint the best in the ae what can I use to go from the AV amp to the projector to re scale the output so that it's nice and swish!

I know building a HTPC could do this for me, but I dont need it to play DVD's etc etc etc.

All I need is some "magical" box to fit between the amp and the projector. now if this is to be a pc then so be it but what would be needed for it (I am capable of building the pc etc so that would be no problem), I'm trying to get the best results for the cheapest amount here.

or do such box of tricks already exsist to save me from reinventing the wheel (not forgetting I'm in the UK!)

Ok I know searching will give me loads of ideas and coming across these things called the iscan etc will possibly be what I'm after just wanted some advice

TIA guys

Doing a quick search on this product would seem to me that its not a UK type product, trying to do a search on uk pages results in no matches what so ever!

but reading about what it does seems to be ideal for what I need! now I just need to find some type of UK type version!

Cheers

Look for XGA Theater TV-4000. It's PAL. Huey has a description here:
