I tried a search and didnt find anything on this. so i hope someone here knows anything about this.

I know that smoking near a ceiling mounted front PJ is a big no no. since the smoke particles can damage the lcd panels or some stuff in there. nothing worse than sticky or stained parts inside from the smoke.

However i recently switched over to electronic cigarretes which you basically blow out quite a bit of water vapor intead of smoke (theres no combustion,so no Tar, Carbon monoxide, odor and no stains).

Would these be safe to smoke near my PJ and other electronics? it would seem safe to me, since its basically a vaporizer unit, but dont know if anyone here has any insight on it.

It will be fine I use and ecig for the past 2 years and love it I use it directly under my projector and I use in in front of my computer tower and I can see my pc sucks it all in when I exhale and has not been a problem for my projector nor Pc. Accually it no different than blowing air since the only reason u can see the vapor is that the pg(propolene glycol) in your ecig accually attract the water molecules. In the air that are already there it just makes the visible your body accually absorbs 90% of the ecig liquid

I doubt vaporizing any type of plant material can harm your projector.

as long as the room is fairly well ventilated, i don't think you'll have any issues. maybe a slight residue will build up on the lens after a while, but you probably clean the lens fairly regularly anyway.

Cigarettes are things you shouldn't smoke around the projector. **** stinks. cigarettes are ****** for you, the environment, an your belongings.

But no problems after a year with other combusting or vaporizing other things.

A theater room isn't complete without.
