I turned on my InFocus SP4805 last night and saw the tell tale sign of a failing light tunnel. It's not too bad yet and lately I've only used it to play Wii. The Wii outputs a smaller than the panel picture so you can't see the effects just yet. That said, I know it'll just get worse over time.

I'm looking for suggestions on what to replace it with. I'm looking for something that is 1080p, quiet and has a similar throw/offset to the 4805 so I'm not stuck moving my mount or screen too much.

EDIT: I should add, gaming is also important so, no lag

I had the same problem...I am down to the Mitsubishi hc4000 (As long as it will fit my room) otherwise it is the Epson 8350! I saw a 9350 (basically the same) and it was bright!! You could have lights on dim and see it perfect...I just thought it was not razer sharp like the DLP...I hear the HC4000 is laser sharp! Either one will make me happy! Your 4805 lasted a lot longer than mine!! LOL

Thanks, I'm currently thinking about the 8350 as well. It seems to have a similar throw setup as the 4805, close enough I shouldn't have to modify much
