I just got an Epson 6010 and let me say that I love it!!!

Right now I am only displaying on my beige wall but I have a 125" 1.0 Gain 16:9 EluneVision Reference Studio 100 on order.

I see from the manual and the online projector calculator than the unit can be mounted between approx. 12' and 26' to get an image that size. Is it recommended that I mount the unit closer to the screen (12') and zoom out/back or mount it farther back (26') zooming in?

Also, does anyone have experience with a 1.0 Gain screen of this size with the 6010? I would be interested in hearing your comments.

Thanks in advance and for all the posts that have helped me decide to get this projector!

Mount closer to keep the image brighter. My screen is 1.3 gain, 126", 14' from the pj. It's plenty bright even in eco mode. 1.0 gain will be just fine unless you mount it 26' away!
