OK, so I had a little to do with it myself :) . My HT room is almost complete (I haven't posted the new pics yet), so it was time today to order the PJ. I got the Panasonic 75U for $2289 including shipping, and they had no interest and no payments until 2003! Couldn't pass it up for that deal.

I should get it by the weekend, so all I have to do now is: finish the HT, build the screen, move all the rest of the equipment down here, order the Panny Rp91, and the breakout cable, build the speaker walls, etc., etc., etc....whew, when do I get to watch a movie?

I see HTCrazy is also about to plunge, but he can't decide between the 75U and the 711...good luck the 75U was plenty for me :) .

OK, now I'm off to order the RP91...wish me luck :D

Congrats and much pleasure with your new killer toy. Ahh, another bridesmaid married off and I'm still here waiting for the bouquet. Actually I'm about to order mine as well.

Rob, before I do, could you PM me with which dealer offered the 6 months same as cash deal?

Thanks,
HTC

Rob,

Congrats! Hope you like it.

Just 1 potential suggestion: there are numerous threads about the RP56 vs RP91, and if I read correctly, the general consensus is that the RP56 is better, for less money. If you've already ordered, please forgive me.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I responded to all the PMs about the dealer I bought the 75U from, so if anyone else would like to know, or has any questions regarding the dealer just send me a PM.

Twilly,

I have done more than 6 months of research, and very much like the RP56 for the price and features, but I wanted the DVD Audio and aspect ratio control as well, and only the RP91 offered those. From what I understand they both perform extremely well in the image quality catagory.

Now I have to order my Parkland Plastics screen so I can get everything setup this weekend :D . Has anyone tried the white pewter parkland sheets rather than the white? I will post this in the screens forum as well.

Thanks again everyone. Pics to come soon...

Rob
