I had been looking at the Panasonic AE-100, but have since decided to go 4:3 1024X768 native resolution instead. (Please, no flames from all the AE-100 folks. I'm sure it's a great PJ and working wonderfully for you. But, it just wasn't the right fit for what I want to do.)

I'm impressed so far with the Boxlight XP-5t and 8t, (actually Sanyo XW15 and 20 in disguise ;-), but really want something with a "low power" mode since I have nearly total light control in the projection room. That would help me save bulb life and noise. I'm using an HTPC that is not just quiet but absolutely silent for all my source material. (HDTV, DVD, pc games.)

Any suggestions on 1024X768 native projectors under $3kUS with a low power mode?

Why eat right to live a few more years during which you are stuck eating the same crappy food?
