Hi There!

My local supplier just quoted me $520+Tax for the new bulb on my projector. I have seen on ebay they range in price from about $170 > $320.

A lot of them refer to OEM Bulbs and "compatible" housing.

Are these safe to buy? Will they affect my picture quality? Does anyone know of a reputable source who ships internationally that isn't too expensive?

Should I replace just the bulb or bulb plus housing?

How can I tell which of the OEM brands my bulb is and will it matter if I get an Osram if my current bulb was a Philips?

Thanks in advance.

Unless you're willing to roll the dice with a clone bulb it's always best to go with an OEM bulb. Provantage has an excellent reputation and ships internationally.
