From what I have been reading lately, many projectors DO NOT have 1:1 pixel mapping, which surprises me, since most HDTVs do have a setting for this.

What is a good way to determine this without having the projector in hand? Are there websites with this info?

What budget are we talking?

Most of them over $1000 do 1:1 pixel mapping and the ones that did not have been corrected for the most part.
I cannot think of one over $1000 that does not do 1:1 mapping, although I'm sure there might be a couple.
The Acer 9500bd and the Benq w7000 both have had firmware updates and now do 1:1 mapping. JVC's and Sony's all do 1:1 mapping AFIK.

The Panasonic's also do 1:1 pixel mapping.

I was thinking in the >$1000 units. I was just blown away when I read that some did not do 1:1 pixel mapping. I sure wouldn't want to end up with one that didn't.

Thanks for the input.
