I'm new to the projector world. I have a 63" Samsung TV now and am thinking of moving up (so to speak). Anyways, I am very interested in the Epson 3010 but am wondering how difficult of a time i'm going to have with positioning given that it doesn't have lens shift. I have started looking at mounts and some of them have options for moving the mount around once it's installed. Is this option in a mount able to make up for not having lens shift? BTW: what mounts (wall and ceiling) do you guys recommend?
Thanks!!

An extension on the mount may help, if your ceiling if much to high in relation to where the top of the screen would be. Normally you use the lens shift capabilities of the pj to "shift" the image up/down, left/right to overcome some slight differences on where the pj will be placed. The mount is mainly used to get the pj level, so the image remains "square". Maybe this thread will help ya.
