Hello,

I'm new here, arriving under sad circumstances.

My projector has become unusable, because its image is distorted. I'm not sure how to describe the effect. I would say it seems the pink and green layers are misaligned (horizontally). So if you display a white shape, a band on the left will appear green and another on the right pink. In addition the picture seems pixelated, but it may very well be a consequence of the first problem. The projector is quite noisy too. It sounds similar to an old fan.

The problem also appears whit the projector menu, even when no source is connected, so it is not a cable problem, as I first thought.

I uploaded a picture there, so you can see it by yourself

Any idea about what may going on? I'd welcome any help.

Thank you very much.

Did you buy this used? Surely this couldn't have happened overnight. It looks like it was dropped and all of the panels were thrown completely out of alignment. Plus the fan is noisy?

I would open it up (unplugged of course) and give it a visual inspection. Look for broken parts, loose cables and components.

Unless it's something obvious the cost of repairing this unit would be more than it's worth. Seems destined for the recycling bin, unfortunate.

You are right, it has not happened overnight. I have not used this video-projector for a long time (almost two years), before my moving. I guess it has been damaged during the moving.

I'll do that, thank you again. And sorry for the late reply.
