Good morning.
Just something I've noticed lately on my screen, is when the picture is displaying white (white is only when i've noticed it, may be doing it on other colors) There is like a dancing line or lines of purple dots that just kind of appear.

I just put a new bulb in the machine about 300 hours ago, it was a cheap non-oem bulb. Anyways, didn't know if I should attribute this to the cheap bulb, the old projector (2006) or maybe just some dust behind/in front of the lens?

What about those mushrooms you have been eating for a snack, maybe they are causing it! eek.giftongue.gif

Lamps will never cause any issues other than; won't strike, flicker, dimm, or possible cause a color shift of the complete image.
This is a electronic problem or physical panel/polorizer problem.
Try No input with cable unplugged and a white screen... still there.. probably near time for a new projector. If it goes away, try a completely different input ..i.e if you use HDMI try component and see what you get..
Good luck!
