I just noticed over in Art Feierman's blog some pretty definitive comments about gaming lag time improvements in both the 3020 and 5020...this would be great news as it's a key obstacle for me pulling the trigger on the 5020 once it's launched. Check the comments towards the bottom of the page...

Ahhhh I'm so tempted to pull the trigger! The input lag numbers from last year's 3010 model is the only thing holding me back.

I'm upgrading from an Epson HC400 (720p) that I bought in the summer of 2006 so I'm sure I'll be blown away by whatever I decide to get :-)

Yea I saw he wrote that to. I don't plan on playing games that much when I get the 5020 but the improved lag will help when I do.

Any news on the lag time for gaming on the epson 5020? I'm ready to order, just waiting for some results.
