So I just purchased two LG PA70G's, and I want to set them side by side (in 4:3 x 4:3 mode) for one giant picture. Easy enough with my computer, since it supports dual monitors. However, how am I gonna hook this thing up to my PS3 and other devices? It seems like I need a HDMI splitter that takes a 1080p signal, and cuts it in half, sending one half to one monitor, and the other half to the other. Does such a device exist? I see no reason why it wouldnt be possible in theory (maybe some minor cropping/readjusting would need to be done), but it should be possible right?

Or is there some other way to get my single hdmi feed (from my PS3) to display on both projectors?

Thanks for any info!

*And if such a HDMI splitter does exist, it would need to be 120hz for 3d.

OUCH. there must be a cheaper way? I was considering getting a video input capture card on my pc, and plugging my PS3 into that? Then spit the signal back out via dual monitor out. Wouldnt that work?

*something like this...

Although its only 60hz, i would need 120hz in if i wanted to play 3d blueray movies on my ps3?

*ok the more I think about it, I should just get a cheap blueray drive for my PC if i want to play 120hz 3d movies. So 60hz should be plenty fast enough for PS3/XBOX.

200 bucks for that input card though.. still kinda pricey... anyone aware of any cheaper alternatives?

You could do it with the computer, but it needs enough horsepower and a really decent video card with enough horsepower for the GPU's.

What? I dont think the gpu has anything to do with it. The capture card (like the one I linked) is going to be doing all the work. Or am I missing something?

Still don't want to have to spend 200bucks on the capture card, there must be a cheaper way..

are you doing this to play ps3 games?

you could also try asking in the home theater pc section.

it is here

if I were you I would A buy a new graphics card, B blueray drive, C play the pc version of the ps3 games using the ps3 controller and rip all your movies to a cheap 1tb hd.

or go on YouTube and search for duel projector setups, I know I've seen a few videos on there and see what there using.

my guess would be its all through computers.
