Hello all, I wonder if anyone might have some information as to why I am not seeing my receivers On Screen Display ( volume, audio surround mode etc...) when I am using a blu/ ray source. It will work when I am using the same blu/ray player with a DVD just not using Blu/ray? I have a new Pioneer SC 68 receiver maybe this needs an adjustment? I have looked through the menu on the pioneer and the Sony GDP 550 player with no luck any help would be much appreciated.

How can your projector be the issue? It just displays what is sent over hdmi.

Carefully read your Receivers manual and support issues. If it is new call and ask them why this is not working as expected.

Likely it has to with high bit rate video processing.

Have Fun!

It's the Pioneer SC-68 amp that is the problem. I have found the answer on page 104 of the manual (On Screen Display setup). I am surprised to learn that Pioneer only overlays OSD on monitor output one? This does not make much sense to me, but this is the way it works. I am dissapointed with this as I use OSD with both my displays TV and Projector. Can't understand the rational behind only offering OSD on one?????
