Going to be mounting my projector from my drop tile ceiling. Anybody have pics of how you mounted yours?

I don't have pics, but I can explain it pretty well I think. I used a DIY mount. Do you already have a mount?

1) Measure to find where mount will go.

2) At that point, screw a 2X6 between joists for your mount to screw into(if there is not joist there).

3) You will have to cut a hole in tile, where the pipe from mount goes thru. ZERO weight is supported by tile.

I just remounted mine (new bigger screen on its way, and got tired of it moving then kids play trampoline on the kitchen floor above).

I still have to cut my tile to fit around the post and clean up the cabling.
