as you can see on the picture below, there is a dark bar on the bottom of the screen. can i fix this issue by myself?
what cause to this problem?

Is it there on different source inputs? It could be a light engine issue and repair would be almost, if not higher than buying a new pj. Probably not a diy repair. You might try a different cable, and or bulb, if you have one as well, but it doesn't look good.

there is no other source inputs. i recently replace the bulb with a new one, this problem show on the old bulb also.
i'll try to replace the cable and see what happen.

These types of faults are generally caused by one of the elements in the light engine MOVING a little out of place from heating and cooling cycles.

It is a very simple fix, but not a DIY unless you are comfortable taking LCD's apart and getting them back together.

Mine just starting doing this too. 3 months out of warranty. Epsons response "sorry, only covered for 2 years".
