About 4 years ago, I purchased a used Powerlite S1 for $350 and it has worked great until a recent accident involving a cord, some kids and running, lol.
I guess it's pretty outdated now because I looked on eBay about couldn't find any of the S1, but I did however, find an S3 and some others.

Out of the following models, which one is newest? Which one is better?

1810p
VS210
710HD
705HD

http://www.projectorreviews.com/epson/ has some reviews on a couple of those. http://www.projectorreviews.com/epson/home-cinema-710/index.php looks to be the newest in the review list.

When looking for info on projectors, google the make and model number and look for the link to projectorcentral.com, 99 out of 100 times the page will be the specs on the unit which includes date first shipped and date last shipped.

How does the Powerlite S1 stand up to these newer models? Are they light years apart or not much improvements?
