I have an Epson EX30 that is displaying the "Auto Iris Error". I have read that you can clean and grease the auto iris motor, which usually fixes the problem, and I think I can probably do this as I'm technically inclined. It's also experiencing an issue where the entire image has a yellow cast (i.e. yellow text should be white) and what should be a solid blue background on the error message fades to black on one side. Not sure if these are related to the auto iris issue but I imagine they are as the problems occurred simultaneously. Has anyone does this that can offer some tips - such as what grease to use, proper cleaning method, where is the iris motor located, how should I disassemble to access it, etc. I would be GREATLY appreciative! Thanks very much for any help.
