Hi, Everybody

I'm looking for a suitable projector in 2D or 3D for my Home Theater into movies and gaming mostly. Deliver the best 1080p quality in contrast in color and deep blacks with lens shift, great display type like dlp, lcd, etc, good warranty, and good or better bulb life. Appreciate your suggestions, Thanks.

The Benq 1070 has most of what you want, except only a a bit of available lens shift. If you can get it to fit your setup, depending on your screen size, check out this calculator http://www.eliteprojectorcalculator.com/ it might be suitable. For the best blacks, you may need to spend a little closer to $2500.

What do you currently use?

I have a Samsung Plasma and honestly don't feel like I am missing much with regards to black levels on the Benq W1070. You aren't going to find much better right now at the $1000. It's a very nice picture.

Have a sony hx750 was just curious if there was a downside or any adjustment could be made for that projector like a black or silver screen to enhance the picture quality.

There is probably no projectors under $1000 with deep blacks. Unless you find a used jvc with a ton of hours, but they are not great gaming projectors.

If you seriously game? DLP is your friend..... Black level performance is but one PQ attribute. Really high lumens will give the perception of better black level performance all on it's own.

And then you have to decide which black level performance is most important to you.......

Most people want the best intermixed contrast scene black level performance rather than the true best black level performance. DLP is pretty darn good on the intermixed contrast scenes.
