I want to replace my old Epson tw700 (us version is called 810 i think) with a projector around $1100, or preferably a bit less.
I guess most of today's projectors would be a huge improvement, but what most of them are lacking
is a decent input lag.
It has to be a LCD projector, as the RBE of DLPs really bothers me. The last one i tried was the BenQ W1070, and it was very clear that DLP is not for me.
The projector will be installed in my living room with poor light control, so for day time use a decent amount of lumens is necessary. Somewhere between 2200-3000 works from what I`ve found trying different projectors. I don`t care much about 3D, so that is not an important feature, but I would like 1080p if I am to upgrade.
A decent black level is also preferred.
So, in lack of an Epson 6020 with half the input lag for half the price, what do you suggest?
The 8350 seemed like an OK projector until i started reading about all the problems people have with it.
