I tried the 3Active 3D glasses for 2012 Panasonic with my Epson 3020 and, while they did sync up, there was way too much ghosting/crosstalk to be usable.
I also have a pair of the Samsung 4100's and they do work, but I only use them as spares for when company is over as the experience is definitely better with the stock Epson glasses since there is nothing blocking light from the side on the Samsungs. They sync perfectly and do work well though.
I just ordered a pair of the Panasonic TY-ER3D4MU glasses as they are supposed to be pretty good, I'll report back after I receive them. They're a few bucks less than the Epson glasses so I'm hoping they work well.
Supposedly, any glasses with the "Full HD 3D RF" logo should work with the Epson 3020/5020.
